Believe it or not, I'm FINALLY getting back into the groove and making some new and exciting things. I realized, while trying to organize my computer files, that I have some OLD cards yet to share(all from August's Verve challenges). So I figured, before starting again with my new creations, I'd do a quick post to catch up. I have to find my "details" book, as that seems to have been misplaced...but these are all most likely from previous challenges...
Thanks for looking!
I am a stay-at-home mom to five kiddos, a girl who is 8, and then four boys ages 6, 5, 4, and 18 months old! My creative outlets include sewing, stamping, and scrapbooking. And this keeps me sane after a long day with my angels! I am also a Creative Memories Consultant.

Happy New Year
Welcome 2010! I was thinking back wondering what a decade includes...this past decade I've gotten my Masters in Hospital Administration, and after working, left the "career world" to become a stay-at-home mom, I got married and my husband graduated law school a year later. We moved back to Texas from South Bend, Indiana. I had FIVE kiddos! My dearest dog friend Kalli died, but I have two today! I've gone from a Chevrolet Cavelier, to a Honda Odyssey minivan, and now a GMC Yukon. Aggghhh - the last decade, all in all, has been good to me. Here's to a new decade. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with your family and friends because in the end, that's what REALLY matters.
I have been working on stuff, just not getting on to my blog as much as I should. I am going to try and do better this year not that I've settled into somewhat of a routine with the newest baby. My FAVORITE gift I gave this year - or at least one of my top favs - is the teacher gifts I made. I altered letters for the teachers - how fun and easy (saw this idea at Hobby Lobby). I then TOTALLY cased the project off of Papertrey for the teacher journal jar. The jar is filled with questions for the teacher to adhere to their journal, and write down their story. In the end, they will have a journal that documents how/why they became a teacher. LOVE IT!!!!!
Nichole does a great job with her instructions as it has everything you need to make it just as it appears! You can follow the link here for the instructions - http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/2008/11/introducing-tea.html
