Treehouse Thursday Challenge

Another Thursday which means another Treehouse challenge. I can't believe it's my third challenge already this month as guest designer. A few days ago I'd have said that it's sad that the month is almost over, BUT...a little surprise - they asked me to become a full time designer. YEAH! I'm very excited to get to work with all the wonderful ladies and Treehouse Stamps. Stay tuned, in a couple days I'll post the very first cards I made with Treehouse stamps (it was so long ago I need to see if I even took pictures of them back then : )

Anyways, this week's challenge is a sketch challenge. And I can admit now that I had used this sketch by mistake for a challenge a few weeks ago. Needless to say, I loved the sketch so I made a new card for today...

And the card I made a few weeks ago, using the same sketch!

Thanks for looking and make sure to check out all the great images at See the other great inspiration at

Another Thursday, which means a Treehouse Stamps Challenge

I'm really liking this "guest designer" spot - it's fun to have an "assignment" each week, although it's more just a direction for my mojo rather than homework. It's Thursday so that means Treehouse Stamps Thursday challenge! And this week was a color challenge - pink, sky blue, brown, and cream. My goal for this card was to make it NOT baby-ish, which is what I normally think of when I see that color combo! So...without further's my card using the Summer Doodles set just released. So many fun options with this set - LOVE IT!

Although it's a little difficult to see, I colored, and cut, and popped it up so there's lots of dimension to the card. I used stickles on the flower to make it "sparkle." It was hard to photograph but trust me when I say the colors are gorgeous. I also used the sketch from the May 6th challenge. And don't you love love love the font?!

Be sure to check out the Treehouse store as well as their blog for great stamps and inspiration!

Have a fabulous Thursday!

It's just in time, but I did Jen Del Muro's SFYTT from this week, which is made extra fun as there is a MFT prize to go along with it. Check out her post at I had until today at noon to get it submitted, so I feel accomplished as I've washed floors AND finished the card. It's the little things...

Anyways, here's my card. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Pure Innocence stamps. I also made a square card, which I rarely do although I do like the size! I used some new paper that I absolutely love too - October Afternoon's Thrift Shop, Needs Paint.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous Friday!

Treehouse Thursday Challenge

Today is my first "official" challenge for Treehouse Stamps - Can I just say it was so fun to make an example showing off their wonderful stamps. I haven't done much with digital stamps, so it was also something new for me.

The challenge this week was "Masculine Theme." I immediately thought ahead to Father's Day...and the set just released "Life's Little Moments" was perfect! Since I didn't get a chance to play along with last week's Thursday Sketch Challenge, I combined that sketch (which I loved) with the masculine theme. Here are two cards I made - both with the same image/sketch, just different papers and orientation. The papers are from Pink Paislee's Amber Road Collection.

Be sure to check out the Treehouse Blog for more inspiration And let me know how you like my first official guest designer assignment.

YEAH to me, and check out Treehouse Stamps

Some really cool news to share today - and something to give me a kick in my MOJO! I won the Treehouse Stamps Guest Design Team challenge from April...check out the post here on the Treehouse blog -

SO...not only do I get the first peek at some wonderful images, I also get a much needed kick in my MOJO. I had found some stamps from this company awhile back that I absolutely love. Maybe I'll dig those out and share the pictures later in the week. In the meantime, check out the card that I won with - using the digi image they provided for the contest.

And a close-up of the cupcake - which I double and triple layered for a real 3D effect. I also used Tattered Angels (a new favorite of mine) and Crystal Effects to make it even more yummy!

So - that's my happy news for today. Thanks for stopping by. And if you want to find out more about Treehouse stamps (their stamps, lots of other supplies, etc.), their store can be found at and their blog is
