Happy Day!

Last night was a great night with my friend Gretchen - she came over and we created like mad! I'm so excited about what I made. I used her Howdy and Cowgirl Inky Antics stamps - LOVE 'EM! I used some twine to mimick the lasso on the first one. It looks great IRL. I like the coloring of the paisley one too!

And then I'm real happy with my 3x3 Valentine cards - these are perfect for those Valentine exchanges for school! I'm making up some sets to sell so let me know if you are interested and how many you'd like!

And can you believe - I had over 100 hits in just four days! Thanks so much for looking and telling others. I really enjoy making my crafts - and sharing with others! Have a great day and I'm hoping to get more stuff to share tonight!

Not enough time

I'm excited to start working on so many different projects that I wish I had more time! I've already gotten a couple of "orders" from this blog thing so I'm thrilled. Let me know if there is something you're interested in - I can definitely help create something I know you'll love.

Last night I had my hostess club with my Stampin Up Demonstrator. She always has such wonderful ideas, and has really gotten me going with card making again! Both the projects used the Happy Heart Day stamp set - which is adorable and so versatile. And notice the elephant doesn't have to be just for Valentine's Day!

The treat bags are my favorite as well - I think I'll be making these up for my daughter's preschool class. Have a great day!

This has been neat!

I'm thrilled to see people are actually looking what's out there in blog land - no wonder the hype! Thanks for looking at mine! It gives me motivation to create and update!

I wanted to get a couple cards and scrapbooking things up but I had stamp club this evening. We made adorable Valentine things that I'll post tomorrow!

Since I saw that I had a bunch of hits today, I thought I'd go ahead and show a picture of one of my favorite gifts - and some of you out there have some already! They are my hand made chenille potholders - thanks to my grandma for showing me how to make these! They are the best potholders EVER - and I love having to give them as gifts. These are great to have on hand - they take a lot of material but once you see them, you'd agree they are the best you've had! If you're interested in purchasing any of these - let me know! I can do general "colors" - dark, light, simple like that! I have a bunch ready to make that are in the darker, "country" colors!

And my other fun thing to make are the pillow cases, which can be done really in any way you want! These were just some fun rodeo and western materials I saw and thought they'd be fun!

Thanks for looking!

OK - so I've been talked into this blog thing

OK - so I will admit that I wasn't quite sure about this blogging thing - didn't really know what it was! I'm getting more and more people asking me if I have one to showcase all the stuff I make, so I figured I'd give it a try.

I'll start with a few things I've been working on. First is a child's apron - it is absolutely adorable! A friend who sells unique baby gifts bought six of them to sell. These are a few samples of them. I can do any "theme" - as well as adult aprons. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing anything!

And my friend had her twin girls a couple weeks ago - I saw them today and what angels! I had offered to make her baby announcements and below is the one she chose! I used my new Cricut Expression and the "New Arrival" cartridge. I can't believe the endless possibilities with this new toy! I wish I had more time to play!

And here's another example that I had made up! I used my Cuttlebug (another new toy from Christmas) and the heart embossing folder. My only complaint with this toy is the limitation on size. Is there a way to do emboss a larger area besides the dimension of the folder? Am I getting high maintenance?

Have a wonderful week and let's see how this blogging thing goes!
