Another Thursday, which means a Treehouse Stamps Challenge

I'm really liking this "guest designer" spot - it's fun to have an "assignment" each week, although it's more just a direction for my mojo rather than homework. It's Thursday so that means Treehouse Stamps Thursday challenge! And this week was a color challenge - pink, sky blue, brown, and cream. My goal for this card was to make it NOT baby-ish, which is what I normally think of when I see that color combo! So...without further ado...here's my card using the Summer Doodles set just released. So many fun options with this set - LOVE IT!

Although it's a little difficult to see, I colored, and cut, and popped it up so there's lots of dimension to the card. I used stickles on the flower to make it "sparkle." It was hard to photograph but trust me when I say the colors are gorgeous. I also used the sketch from the May 6th challenge. And don't you love love love the font?!

Be sure to check out the Treehouse store www.treehousestamps.com as well as their blog www.treehousestamps.blogspot.com for great stamps and inspiration!

Have a fabulous Thursday!

Great card! I love the shimmer and I, too, tried to make a more grown up card with this particular color combo!
