I'm debating whether or not to enter the call for designers for Card Positioning Systems (check them out at http://www.cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/). No - I haven't been on a design team but what a fun way to get my creative juices flowing. And it would give me more than that "just a mom" feeling. So, there are two cards to design for them. One, using their sketch CPS #48, and any other of my choice (my choice was CPS #13). I made two each, not sure which to enter.

I like the simplicity of the first card but I like the "action" of the second card. I'm really liking the pink/brown color combo (and blue/brown with all my boys!).

For the second layout, I'm really loving the Cowgirl! And the texture on this card makes it wonderful IRL! But then there's the elephant - who can go wrong with her! I actually made it as a birthday card for a little girl in my daughter's class. I'm loving the bashful blue/real red color combo - very sharp and clean!
I have to decide if I'm entering (deadline is Feb 3) - let me know if you have a favorite out of these, and I'll let you know what happens!
